I’m disappointed to report that my u11s won 8-1 this morning.
Sorry lads. No chance for the reds today.

We need to find a balance today between keeping it tight at the back and being able to hit them quickly when they leave themselves short at the back, which they will. If we resort to our snail-pace sideways and backwards shite then we’ll get nothing.
I’d be looking at some sort of diamond with Wirtz at the head and Ekiteke and Isak in the channels. Leeds will be expecting us to go down the flanks as we have done all season with minimal success.
This is one we should be winning. I see DCL and Nmecha are doubts, that’s their 2 top goalscorers this season.
I have no problem with playing low tempo, and keeping it tight early on, but my biggest frustration is the unwillingness to miss out a man - it’s like they all think they have to have their turn. Konate can pass to the left back without going through Virgil. If we’re trying to get the ball to the right wing, Konate isn’t obliged to be to go between.
My source say:
Bradley Ibou Virgil Kerkez
Gravenberch Jones
Dom Wirtz Cody
Hugo
Two up top or a lone striker?
I just get the lineup, no tactical nuance.
May be a seasonal formation… t’is nearly Christmas after all!
Would be 4-3-2-1 then, ya?
Dom Grav Jones* in the middle - who knows..
edit: meant Jones
All it takes for a fire to start, is one spark.
With or without Slot…just win.
Just an update…its a shit day over here in yorkshire…torrential rain at times…not sure about the Leeds area…
Title challenge back on if we win today.
We can understand what your saying without you pointing out Konaté. Above all as Virgil is a bigger culprit than Konaté going the other way.
Konaté is more likely to pass out right or to Gravenberch who passes it back to him than Virgil is.
This obsession with Konaté is getting to me now. He is what he is. He doesn’t do as much work as he used to covering for Virgil. Virgil has picked it up a bit. I think it’s clearly a fitness thing as it’s evident we won’t get through the season if only one CB does the majority of the donkey work. We also have to sort things out so that both don’t have to go out so wide.
One of the two letter words is doing a lot of heavy lifting there and it isn’t on or we…
but here’s hoping!
Sourcey!
Can see Jones, Kerkez and Ekitike coming in for Macca, Robbo and Isak.
All I want is just to match the energy in what will be a spicy atmosphere after their win in mid week.
Coming away with 4 points from Forest, West Ham, Sunderland and Leeds would be pathetic and further solidifiying that Arne isn’t the right fit to take us forward.
I think we’ll win this pretty comfortably. Leeds coming off the back of an away trip to City and a home effort against Chelsea. I think this will be a stretch too far for them, particularly with some of their possible injuries too.
Light rain and a gentle breeze during the match, according to BBC Weather.
Is that Yorkshire “Light rain and gentle breeze” or actual?
Hurricane conditions then. But much colder.
