Pre-match: Liverpool v Fulham, Wednesday 3rd May, 20:00

Yeah but I don’t like what Fabinho offers us either! We look a bit more fluid since Trent’s move to midfield and I think to make that work properly we need a mobile DM who has a better passing range and not fall over his feet everytime someone comes near him. Fabinho got lucky a number of times tonight from that. Palhinha is more similar to Fabinho than to what I actually want from a midfielder next season.

Not putting him down as a player, I think he’s good, just not the right fit for us in my opinion.

Job done, nothing much to say.

Thought we were poor, very poor, 3 points no injuries on to Saturday against Brentford.

Did I mention we were poor …

I am dreading Brentford. They are a solid team, very hard to beat. I hope they are on the beach when we play them. :crossed_fingers:t2:

By few more you mean about 8?

There’s a pattern here, our performance dips in the 2nd half and the substitutions don’t appear to improve things. I’m not a fan of bringing three subs on at the same time. For the last 20 minutes, we allowed Fulham to dominate possession and we were very naive in stoppage time, failing to retain the ball and run the clock down.
Very good first half performance, 3 points, we move on.

Performance dropped in the 2hf as you would expect given the number of games played in succession.

But the description poor is not correct. Thought esp in 1hf that we played at a really good level…

And save for a few lapses in concentration the defending was very good…

Plus we are getting better in executing the TAA role in central midfield

Oh thanks, but I stick to my opinion though.

I am not understanding why the team seem to slow down and lose the ball in the second half. The boys are tired maybe

Klopp “Alisson was close to crying with a clean sheet today. It’s been pretty rare for us this season.”

He’s the poster boy of how narratives, once established, rules in followership of the modern game.

He’s a hardworking player and not an ounce more…

I think we both want the same type of player as when we are pressed that is when Fab shows his weakness, we need to evolve with our DM from what we have used previously

He has been better but to compete we need to change him, teams are now going more toe to toe with us and if they press us Fab isn’t good enough.

Spoilsport!

Job done, phew!

Another win. Closer to a European spot and no noise from the Klopp out media dicks. Love it.

A win is a win and to be honest it’s nice to have the clean sheet.

That 0 is mighty puzzling, we think the hasn’t finished yet.
