We usually don’t play with a #6 playing deep and in between our CB’s. Highly doubt we can just flip so many things in a game like this. Might play a bit more reserved, but they will ask questions and we can’t start this game minute 1 thinking only about how to protect the lead. We have to be lively.

I’m calm with that, he is more defensively minded than any one else we could stick in the midfield.
A few games ago I’d have my issues, but the way they broke us on last game I felt Fabinho would be a solution in midfield.

We got a 2 goal margin, so I dare think we can do this. Last game against Leipzig was the best we have played since Crystal Palace,so maybe we can dare hope we can play good games in Europe. Getting to the quarter finals would be relatively respectable considering our seasons. My own target for us, considering our season, is semi finals (and then anything can happen), but first we need to beat Leipzig tonight.

I hope they don’t realise how slow he is. 
We need wins and confidence more than rest I think. But I understand what you are saying and why. But getting 2-3 wins in a row would do us amazingly good I think. And for that, best players needs to play.
They do. They know all about our players, all Champions League teams that face us will. I know you said it in jest, I just took the time to post my opinion that “being found out”, which is a standard fan sentence, is a cliche I don’t believe in much. Nowadays, all teams with so much money as the Premier League, as well as our CL opponents, have done meticulous research on opposing squads. This was also true last season, when we crushed the league.
