As a comparison, a NowTV sports day pass is £10 so that is what someone who just wants to watch the “big” match once in a while would pay. They are clearly using this to stiff the regular fans.
I suspect that this is being used as a trial to see if they could get away with turning the whole thing over to PPV. I’m hoping that it backfires and the foodbank makes a mint.

Hope we can get a positive result, while it would be nice run riot and to bag a few goals, for me a clean sheet along with the 3 points would be a big statement.
As for PPV, fk that, gave up my Sky sub years back and haven’t missed a single LFC game over the last 2 seasons. There are plenty of free streams or subscription services out there. Keep your £15, or donate if you choose, just don’t let PPV footie model succeed.

I understand not paying for sky…but I find I can see most football games, (ours epecially as we find it hard to get tickets) cricket, etc…and I did haggle with sky to get my sub’s reduced…but I won’t pay the PPV on principle…

Fully agree - I’d take a 2-0 straightforward win with no heart-stopping moments in goal, versus something like a 6-3 win with Adrian flailing like a wild chicken.
We need our backline to gain in confidence game to game, and what better match to keep the clean sheet streak running than this one!
