I was wondering about Thiago as well, I still feel Jones will start and Thiago come on later if he’s fit enough. Then again that all depends on Klopp and how much he values Thiago above Jones.
I’d forgotten Jones has been injured as well, not sure Millie can go again (though he would be a decent physical presence in midfield). I suppose it will be Keita then (and hpefully as LCM).

Break between Tuesday and Sunday with Fabinho, Hendo, Keita and Milner available - this should be enough.
Players can be rested against Preston in midweek.
I just like to see scousers on the pitch vs the scum. Jones will be up for it.

It’s not even certain he’ll make the bench.
I prefer not to make fun of them until we actually beat them otherwise we will look stupid afterwards.
Would be great to beat them at Old Trafford again and results + form clearly speak for us.
But it should be clear that whenever we play there we not only play against them but also against their shitty fans, the ref + VAR, pundits and media.

No, I think it will be jones. That’s just a best team from the combined squads.
Yea you’ve got a point there, however I still think City are going into any game against utd as strong favourites this season.
I have a strange feeling that Jota’s going to be really influential, perhaps from the bench.
I reckon United might just be able to hang on for an hour but then they’ll be fucked. I do think we need to push Shaw back but that should be doable. Particularly if Henderson can play on the right. That means Fabinho at the base and one of Keita/Milner/Jones/Thiago/AOC at LCM.
Matip may need rotating, not due to lack of form but just to manage all our CBs. Gomez could be a good option if Rushford is passed fit. I’d also trust Konaté to do a job, particularly alongside VvD.
