It was a blatant yellow. You can’t go to ground and hack someone from behind when they’re shielding the ball, it’s always a yellow.

Anyone think VanDyk played Gordon in there into the tackle knowing he is a twat .

Our coverage described how “newcastle started well and liverpool under pressure” and then proceded to show their first chance coming in the 28th minutes.
It was a sloppy bitty game made so by their uncontrolled furiosity, their unwillingness to actually stand up to any physicality, and a ref content to ref the narrative not the game.
