High Energy, High Press it looks like… Exactly what we want against their 2nd choice center backs.
Boom.
Don’t think any of us saw that coming.
That’s a decent bench to be able to turn to.
Me likey.
Surprising choice in Naby. I’d have thought a disciplined midfield may have driven selection here.
We’ll just have to tear them a new one instead.
The egg that’s gonna be on your face…
Dont say that. The eggs are already all over my face after Easter…
Back on the diet later…honest.
Just lube that chain and log some miles ffs.
This got me aroused, not gonna lie.
Time’s up for Divock?
Not getting picked behind Harvey Davies and Jake Cain is pretty damning.
I love that the very first time Keita’s name is mentioned in this thread is when the lineup is announced.
Not a single one of us had him on the pitch.
Zidane is yelling at his video people to throw together a PowerPoint as I type…
That might help.
The old power to weight ratio is sadly lagging more towards the weight side. My weekend 20 miler was pathetic.
Still, I managed to pass at least 6 chip shops today on my travels. The knees were buckling and the bottom lip quivering.
At this rate I’ll be diving into the Wim Hoff manual again.
‘What’s a Naby Keita?’ is trending on Twitter.
A mysterious creature that hails from a region in Africa. Has an incredible talent of being able to lose a leg and grow a new one in its place several times over
I think with Keita over Thiago Klopp opts for energy and high press over midfield control.
And with Jota in it means the Front3 will be more flexible.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Mané starts at the right.
I think there’s a real shame if we don’t attack Vazquez at RB with our usual left side and Mane there.
Injured…
Since when? I thought Klopp announced recently that all but the long-term injuries were available?
Listed on official website 6 injured players. He’s been injured a couple of weeks.
Jota playing was easy to predict, Keita less so.
A big game from Keita would be lovely. He has the skills, vision, dribbling ability to break through the lines to really make something happen. Hopefully it is like that.
We’ve seen too much peripheral stuff in the Prem where he has been bundled out of it, and then he has carried too many knocks.
A while ago there was a link with Real Madrid? Maybe Keita will do well and they will snap him up?
Can’t wait for this to kick off. Gonna finish up here at work in a few and race home to watch it with the lad. It will be on a Spanish channel in our house. We don’t mind that, as they seem to get excited at all the right bits!
