That just seems an Anomaly and yet the last three results prior where possibly what you’d expect, 7 from 9 with an away derby and a home tie against Newcastle. Maybe we need our home comforts. Anfield needs to be on it.
I’m not saying that we were as bad as most people thought last night, rather, I think that this match might not yield as much of a “reaction” as people might think, if only because I think that our team does care, even though they might not look like it, and that they’re just close to the limits of what they can do at the moment. The Bournemouth match came at least 5 days after the previous match, whereas we’re looking at more limited recovery and preparation time for this one.
If this was on the tail end of a tight fixture list, I’d be more confident of us grinding out a result. At this moment however, unless Wolves don’t bring any form of intensity, we will probably find it a long hard struggle more akin to the derby match than the Bournemouth match.
How shit were Bournemouth really I wonder.

I think it’s pretty obvious that our performance last night was simply because the squad were so terribly heartbroken about her current health. They couldn’t focus. Lets just delay the season until everyone feels better - ideally just after all our players get back from injury - and start it over again.
