He’s gonna destroy United (again) on Tuesday

Hope you’re wrong. We’ve made so many “world class” players look like fools over the years. KDB is the perennial M5 estate. Brilliant at everything every time you turn the key.

It’s not just about Grealish

Hope KDB is still on when Milner comes on.

I can’t stop imagining a sprint between those two now. Milner wins every time.

We can play a lot better than we did on Sunday. JK said it himself. It’s one of the things that makes me more confident about tomorrow than I was about the Etihad game. First half it looked like one or two of our players froze and tactically it wasn’t the smartest thing to do to try to play through the lines with them pressing like that. City adapted their tactics for that game. We didn’t. Collectively and individually (Fabinho, I am looking at you) I’m expecting a much better performance tomorrow.

Free TV pundit panel line up on BBC for tomorrow’s game is exactly what you get if you don’t pay for your footie coverage. Joining Gary and Alan are two clowns.

They are shite on the pay channels too

Micah??

Quite…

Should be a cracking game. We were good against City but we could have been better. They were good against us, and they could have been better too. For both teams they faced a bloody good opponent!

Anyway, game tomorrow. If Kyle Walker is out, we might get a bit more change on the flank with a speedster. If KDB is out that helps, as he is probably their best player. However, the strongest part of their team is the attacking midfield options they have, so we can’t take anything for granted, whoever they deploy in there. I still expect KDB to play anyway.

In our team we have genuine options to choose from, and that really helps us. Our depth is getting there, and it might just be the thing that sees us have a very memorable run in.

Listening to Pep what he says and reading a bit between the lines.

It seems like City have decided not to go back to Manchester after Madrid, but wait in London. They’ve managed to secure one of Millwall’s pitches to train, Pep said they owe them one.

Dias has had 3 full sessions and is in condition to start.

Walker and Bruyne might be too early for tomorrow, says (could be bluffing of course) it will be a close call.

So, if Walker can’t make it there are probably two options:

Cancelo RB, Ake or Zinchenko LB.
Stones RB, Dias RCB, Cancelo LB.

And if Bruyne can’t start I guess Gundogan will simply start.

Probably bluffing re KDB.
As if Klopp cares.

Maybe another option would also be Laporte LB and then Foden on the left side in front of him for balance.

Jesus was suspended on Wednesday so I expect him to start against us again.

After the injury ‘scares’ they have I have the feeling that Pep will make some more changes for tomorrow - not saying he will throw that competition away but still.

Ake, Dias, Fernandinho, Grealish, Sterling and Zinchenko were all on bench on Wednesday and I expect at least 3 of them to start too.

Still not sure if he will start Steffen in goal.

Can’t see that myself. Foden would have to spend so much time tracking back to help Laporte with Mo, it would basically neutralize him. IF Walker can’t go, I’d expect Zinchenko. Ake would get run ragged trying to stay with Mo.
