Sadio Mane (LW) to Bayern

Forgot about Southampton

His interviews have always been a bit awkward. Part of his charm.

Thereā€™s been periods where Sadio was our best defender and attacker. Incredible work rate and desire

Thereā€™s no ā€˜new challengeā€™ playing for Bayern Munich, they will win the Bundesliga next season. If he really wants to go to Germany, go to Dortmund and help them win the league and Liverpool can part exchange him for Bellingham.

Iā€™ve a bit of difficulty to believe that Bayern have a realistic chance of getting Sadio. They arenā€™t that great these days, and the lack of genuine competition in their league will only hamper their competitiveness at European level. And honestly, Sadio is too good for them and for the Bundesliga. Of course, money could play a role, but again, Iā€™ve difficulty to believe that Bayern can pay him a bigger salary than LFC.

If he leaves, I suppose that it will be for Madrid, Barca or PSG, ie. clubs which arenā€™t more attractive than us, but have the financial power to offer him a big last payday before his retreat.

I still hope that heā€™ll see sense and stay with us, the best fans in the world! Sadio, you know what you have to do, lad!

Bayern may be willing to offer a longer contract?

Sadly, the fact that he wasnā€™t at the parade is pretty clear evidence that his departure is inevitable.

You would expect interest from other big clubs considering heā€™s a genuine world class player.

he was at the parade.

He was on the bus. At first, I thought the same, but he was definitely there.

The challenge he is seeking might not be a higher level of competitiveness but a change in the surroundings; new teammates, new competitors, new environment. Sometimes a change of scenes is a good stimulant.

I understand this, but Bayern? Maybe Iā€™m wrong, but right now, it doesnā€™t seem to make a lot of sense for him to go there.

Maybe he just fancies wearing ā€˜Lederhosenā€™ every day?

He won everything with LFC. Not going to begrudge him adding a Bundesliga or a Serie A to round off his career.

When you spend your prime years at Liverpool, you donā€™t really have much choices.

Iā€™m not saying that he is going to Bayern. But they are not just about to lose Lewandowski, MĆ¼ller isnā€™t getting any younger either. Mane can fill either of those spots. The other option would be Real. PSG and Barcelona reeks of mismanagement.

Also , Weā€™ve got his replacements scouted and hired. Diaz and Jota.

Liverpool can sign a younger player like Gnabry , Dembele etc as well but the important thing is having someone who can play across the front line like Mane can.

Klopp and the club will respect his wishes if he wants to go and a suitable deal that allows him to leave will be sorted.

He owes us nothing and has only been a great ambassador for the club on and off the field during his time with us.

Sad to see him go but nothing lasts forever and wish him well in his next adventure.

Maybe he wants the experience of feeling disappointed when youā€™ve ā€˜onlyā€™ won the league.
