Clyne has been out of contract and available at any time for any interested party for two months now. Not really anything our club or fanbase needs to or should do about this. He may well have to just call it a day at 29 and accept his lot. Let’s hope he doesn’t fall on hard times, ridiculous to even think that these days I suppose. I know West Ham had him in their sights. What happened there?

F*ckin ell if he gets that move. Can’t stand the little prick, even more than a Pogba. Started brilliantly, but it’s a shame because he’s talented. Can’t wait to see him when Real needs him in those #8 positions after he failed to perform (in flashes at best) as #10 at Spurs. Perhaps Spurs also feel the dynamic with him behind/alongside Kane isn’t the greatest long term.

Córdoba to Hertha has me interested. Proven BuLi player and gives Hertha a nailed on physical target man down the middle. 13.5 is “reasonable” for his production and age. He was actually linked to Everton as recently as last week.

United’s objection to including a buy-back clause is understandable. They want to still see themselves as a club that’s an ultimate destination for players and haven’t become second tier. However, the fact that they’re objecting to it probably betrays their lack of confidence in that previously assumed status.
