He is 6’3", 227lbs, has a 40 under 4.4, higher than 40" vertical, and damn near a 12’ broad jump.
I cannot think of many players who have ever had those 3 performance numbers, let alone one that size. Like Bo Jackson as a big wide receiver.

I don’t even care if it’s banned, but McDermott and co. have been entirely disingenuous.
Say you don’t think the play is in the spirit of the game, but since it’s available to everyone, you’d be foolish not to use it, fine, but you can’t run around all holier-than-thou bitching about “player safety” (even though there’s been zero injuries as a result of the play) whilst calling for the fucking play whenever you have a chance.

Barkley has been a prominent voice in the NFL over calls for more social justice and has earned himself a lot of affection from lots of places for his stance and willingness to speak up. Now here he is accepting a special invitation from the racist in chief for a day of golf, at a time when he is racisiming to degree far above anything Saquon has previously used his platform to speak out about and who has responded to criticism of the decision with a childish indifference to the criticism.

Parsons to the Packers is huge news ahead of the season kick off.
I guess they’ve pretty much decided you don’t need much in your corners group if you can stop the QB from throwing the ball.
Very un-packers like move but with the youngest roster in the league adding a huge piece like him surely puts them in Superbowl contender territory.
Yes very unlike the Packers to take such a big swing, giving up two firsts and Kenny Clarke but Parsons is premium pass rush. Let’s see what happens but exciting times for sure.
I think the more interesting thing about the this is the utter failure of the sports media. I don’t pay THAT much attention, but I don’t think I saw anyone cover it any way other than standard Cowboys circus stuff that Jerry loves because he craves attention and that it will get worked out because it ultimately always does. The only question was how quickly Parsons could get back to being Parsons because of his interrupted training camp.

I love seeing the Bills trying to run the Tush Push after McDermott and Beane lead the calls to get it banned ('cause it’s so dangerous for the players, like).

As far as I’m concerned, until another team can replicate it even half as effectively as the Eagles, it has to remain a legal, legitimate play. There’s no shortage of tape, lads. Figure it out.
Don’t think danger to players is the big issue, but more the fact that it is something that the offense gets to do with impunity (push the ball carrier), that is deemed a penalty if done by the defense.
For most of the NFL’s existence, pushing a ball carrier forward by another offensive player was a penalty. Change to that rule is recent.
Sure, but McDermott claimed his reason for pushing to ban the play was the safety of the players.

When did they run the ‘snow plow’? I’m in Buffalo area and have never heard that term before the broadcast lol. We did a QB sneak and Allen jumped over the pile once, but wasn’t a lined up tush push. Not that it really matters. If it’s not illegal, it’s gonna be used by those that can do it well.
What a come back though. Glad I stayed up for it.
