The fitting answer to any insult here is to mirror it:
- “You’re a muppet!”
- “No you’re a muppet!”
It’s childish and useless, exactly like insulting someone else on the forum in the first place.

Does that work for compliments too? Obviously I get far more compliments than insults on here, so when a poster writes; ‘Craig, you’re so witty and intelligent’, should I write ‘You’re witty and intelligent too’ even if they aren’t?
I find it difficult to be dishonest.

I’m not a teenager whose unable to express himself with words.
Theres probably a tenously related Simpsons gif for this as well. Or a search to find something remotely related.
Fuck it though, its another part of contemporary discourse that reduces thought. But yeah, who really gives a fuck.
Each to their own I guess, but honestly one reason for being on here is to have a bit of enjoyable banter.
Without it, I feel it’s the first steps towards an Everton style forum.

I like GIFs well enough as jokes, but hate them if used in a conversation instead of a written answer. but shrugs, I think political memes are worse.
But no one agrees with me either, @Quicksand , so we have to eat it
