Five wicket haul for Jacks on debut. Gifted a few of those but it’s a good return on such a dead pitch.
6 for Jacks to finish it off. The first English spinner to do that on debut since some bloke I’ve never heard of who probably played in the 1800s.
Zero chance this ends in anything but a draw. Would like to see England blam it all over the place again with Duckett and Root getting some big runs.
Creepy Crawley with a great chance to boost that average above 30.

Tomorrow will be one hell of a day. All out attack from us from ball one. Love this style of play, win or lose, there is no draw. Although if Pakistan turn up tomorrow on this pitch, they could bat out……
Bold declaration, that certain draw now looks far from certain. Arguably Pakistan’s best three batsmen are already out should Ali not be able to come back out and bat. Rizwan is probably the key wicket now, if any of that lineup is capable of producing a one day like knock to get them over the line it’s him.
I can see them winning this.
Draw actually the least likely result now.

Stokes, Root and above all Anderson have been the sporting Englishmen of the last 10 years. Since he hit the age Botham reired (36) ,Jimmy’s bowling average has been coming down series for series.

Yeah he is something special to still being able to perform at that level.
People say oh look he only took 1 wicket first inning but ignoring the 4 he took in the second he slowed the pace down when it was starting to get out of hand from the spinners.
Pace bowler in general on that pitch did well, one at 40 is crazy.
In 2022 I doubt I ever expected to be praising Jimmy Anderson, he also looks the spit of my brother when he grows a beard it’s odd.

England should have put the brake on a few times I feel Pakistan will sail past that so it depends by how many.
I was watching this morning. Too many sweeps and reverse sweeps. Other than Crawley who got a jaffa, everyone else perished attacking the new lad
