I’ll be keen on that series too, but my mind is already on the UK summer Ashes.
Warner looks shit right now. He’s also appalling in England. I guess we’ll see Marnus effectively opening the batting in June.
Agree it’s always about the Ashes and both sides and public can’t wait to get it on. WI to be rolled right now in no time with another predictable outcome and Oz stat gains.
Warner on the other hand I thought looked great for the hour or so he batted. He must be hating it not cashing in against this rubbish. Now the pressure will mount and in mid 30’s the media won’t miss. Still one of our greatest and that century before lunch at the SCG was one of the best innings I’ve seen live.

I know it’s just one match but this Abrar lad looks quality for Pakistan. Got a bit of heart too, a fighter!
England gifted a few away themselves today, the two runouts were poor and the Jacks shot was rash to say the least. Duckett and Brook both looked impressive again. When Bairstow is back it will be interesting to see how they try to fit him into the team along with Brook, both have to play for me.

Stokes equalling Baz’s record for amount of 6s hit in test cricket, with the intent he’s played with today it won’t be a surprise if he surpasses it today. (Absolute mockers put on by myself there, out a few balls later).
What a delivery from Robinson to get the second wicket! That’s jagged back in from miles away and taken top of off!
Another gripping day in store tomorrow. 2 quick wickets and we’ll all be stood within 6ft of the bat.

Get Shakeel early and I think England should be fine, though they’ve allowed this game to be a lot closer than it should have been. Stokes really didn’t need to get himself out when he did, could have just batted at his usual tempo for another hour or so and England comfortably would have gone past a 400 lead. Can see the tail aren’t for sticking around much nowadays either which is fair enough.
