Would be immense if england get a lead of 60 to 70 odd to cancel the disadvantage of batting last on this surface.
Well 50 wasn’t a bad lead Pakistan have coped so far probably just the one LBW from Leach.

Did well from the position they were in after losing Stokes, Brook sensational again and some vital lower order runs. Game is set up beautifully again.

the pitch was greener than my back lawn.
The greenest pitch ever actually made the game interesting. Nice change from the roads that allow boring 500+ and increased batting averages.
Normally the Gabba is a perfect cricket pitch. Anyway 1-0 it is.
Leach on a roll, 3 wickets in 6 balls. Had looked relatively comfortable for Pakistan up until the first batsmen went.
Babar and Shakeel have been their best 2 batters. We need to get one or a chase over 200 will be tough.

Might crash in beautiful failure but that’s better than watching for 2 hours of them getting out while trying to get a single or two and being 37-4
