Why in the living fuck did the Australian selectors make about 6 changes to the starting lineup in this game?! A fucking away series in India who haven’t lost a series for more than a decade?! Seriously?!!! We’ve just played the South African and Windies garbage. Why the hell wouldn’t you try them in those games?! Travis Head omitted?! Oh fuckballs I hope he’s injured for the selectors’ sake.

His performances in the dead wickets of Pak and UAE flatter him. Nothing about him and his batting style (heavy hands etc etc) ever screams that he’s gonna be viable in the indian conditions.

I was chatting to some venerable cricket mad desi uncles at an event last night, and while very pleased with the result, even they were bemoaning the lack of help for qicker bowlers in India. In fairness, England would probably be thrashed there too with their one mediocre spinner.
I dunno, siraj and shami would still have gotten the wickets if given an extended spell.
It’s just that Ashwin against left handers is a beast of a bowler
