Australia could do with Ponting on the field rather than in the commentary box. Great insight as always.

Yeah the two senior pros in the team led their younger team mate in how to go about it i believe

What’s the saying…“slowly slowly catchy monkey”

That’s the one. England have a habit of doing it too

Broad continues to stay in his crease in a comedic manner.

Who said test cricket is boring

Whatever the outcome standing ovation for Stokes n Broad…for standing up to this shit from the Aussies…

And those who were watching yesterday

If you mean bowling shit well that would be right

This is becoming beyond enthralling.

Random interviewer “Ben, ever heard of the miracle of Istanbul?”
Stokes “Hold my beer”

Well I did mean sportsmanship and attitude…but if u want to include bowling…:+1:

My bad forgot about Pope and the Kiwi De Grandhomme. But that was OK.

I was taught in the under 10s to stay in my crease.

Enough overs left in the day that they could comfortably go at 3 an over and win from here. Not much need at this point for Stokes to go big, he’s set it up nicely for now.

I’ve just said to hubby…if you can’t get a 4 or 6…pepper em with 3’s n 2’s…

I mean if Stokes does pull this off he’ll likely end with a fourth innings double century in an Ashes test, can’t have happened too often before.

Lol at Broad, being sarcastic at the end of every over :joy:

The highest I can find is 182* by Arthur Morris at Headingley in 1948.

Sounds like quite a match.
