If ever anyone was living on past glories…
I think it suggests just how poor the options are in England for dedicated spinners.
In the same way Warner somehow still has a test career thanks to the selectors being scared of throwing a batsman into the deep end to open.

Root’s dismissal has nothing to do with ‘bazball’, it was a reasonable shot. Can’t blame ‘bazball’ every time a batsman gets out playing a shot.
