That was a quality Ashes series worth the watch.

Mmmm I’d actually attribute the honours even to our poor selection. We should have won this series.

Yep but hindsight is always 20-20. Jimmy has been like a fine wine, better with age. I don’t think even he knew he was now corked. Like what I did there?

England winning this. Didn’t see that happening.

Starc and Woakes winning the awards, rightly so. The pair of them were spectacular.

Yup Woakes is the reason why this swung back

I didn’t rate Woakes that highly before this series but now he’s a nailed on bowler for me.

Thank you for your services Jimmy.

Wonder how Mahmood is faring with his recovery.

I’ve pretty much given up hope for Archer

Woakes has the second best average of any bowler in England over the previous 60 years. Shane Warne is #1. This series must have lowered that avg a bit, too.

Has been England’s best bowler in English conditions for 4 or 5 years now.

…and his elbow just exploded.

Nah that’s Archer again

That elbow had been operated on 5 times now. Is there anything even left of it :frowning:

Considering we need spinners for India :joy:

Indians unless they change their batting line-up can’t play spin anyway

Reckon Leach will be mended by then

On thing that hasn’t changed this summer.
