Desperate times if you’re intimidated by Sam Curran.

What. A. Cunt

What on earth is that female pundit talking about? People will try to excuse anything.

Tom knew exactly what he was doing there. Embarrassing stuff and a fully deserved ban.

Told not to do something, then proceeds to try and do it anyway. Behaviour of a petulant child, shame the umpire didn’t drop the shoulder on him.

Baffling to Sixers are going to appeal that, if anything it should result in a lengthier ban. If that happened in an international game he wouldn’t be seen for a long time.

What Curren did was wrong, no excuding that and as experienced international he should know the laws regarding players not being allowed to walk on the pitch before the game.

The umpire could have delt with it better by walking upto the end of Currens run up but was still pretty clear that Curren needed to shift to the side to avoid the pitch

Sorry but the guys a dick.

He can see him there and it’s clearly being told. He chose to be a massive bellend.

More like CA see him as the perfect character replacement for Warner. They just have to phase out Khawaja and Cummins to really take the Aussie Cricket Team back to the top of the cunts.

This is the sane response.

Those defending him by giving plausible (read ridiculous) reasons are like parents who think their child is perfect and can do no wrong.

The head of Sydney Sixers Rachael Haynes: “Tom and the club maintain that Tom did not knowingly or intentionally intimidate a match official, and on legal advice, we will exercise our right to appeal the decision,” she said. “We will support Tom during this period and look forward to him returning to the field.”

Absolutely pathetic to try a frivolous appeal. Tom Curran knew exactly what he was doing in that final run up.

If he had stopped short of the umpire that would make sense.

All video evidence suggests he knew, chose to be a knob about it and pathetically try and look big.

Appeal has been rejected.

No surprise.

Big fuss from the idiots at the ICC over Usman quite rightly wanting to send his human lives message via sticker and black armband.

Enter Michael Holding to nail it….

“The ICC regulations say re messaging ‘approval shall not be granted for messages which relate to political, religious or racial activities or causes. So how the f**k people were allowed to take the knee for BLM and stumps were covered with LGBTQ colours?”

Fuck the ICC and CA. If Usman doesn’t want to do that why doesn’t he just register a new cricket bat ‘brand’ (for example) and use the peace dove as it’s logo instead of the kookaburra. FFS, Marnus apparently is allowed a ‘bible verse inspired’ eagle logo somewhere.
Another alternative is he gets a tattoo (CA and ICC don’t need to be told it’s not permanent!) On his forehead. Fuck them and their BS about the Israeli genocide.

That’s up there with the worst batting collapses of all time by India. 153-4, 11 balls later 153 all out.

And yet they still might have little to knock off.

55 all out :joy:

This sort of test match is another argument against “test” cricket - this was not cricket. Was there a test even??

This smacks of an institution that does not back test cricket. It hasn’t bothered to prepare a testing track! The hosts are either afraid of losing badly and prepared a “lively” track to back up their bowlers or couldn’t be bothered to prepare the track properly. The first Test track was probably similarly thought through but passed - just. This was more like a casino game than a cricket match…

Great innings by Markram

I get the impression that this rant is more about Rohit’s legacy than anything else, i.e. lost the WC and failed to win the Test Series in SA… Either way his time must surely be up soon.

Aus v Pak is a great cure for insomnia

Warner has finally gone.

It feels a bit strange with Warner - in terms of a (a would be and wanna be ) great leaving. He’s always been a sort of cold character that was never far from controversies.
