Tuning into the highlights in a mo. No spoilers!

Too easy again.
I really want to see his power numbers ip the Hautocam.
I’m struggling to get enthused by Ineos winning a stage.

I’m sure Remco appreciates the ol’ @Noo_Noo Kiss of Death…

I’m happy for Arensman.

That was a ballsy ride.

Ineos…meh…

Wasnt happy was he?

I’ll imagine a stick in Pogi’s spokes next. Ĺ

Healy for me. He’s been crazy aggressive and just having a go.

Fascinating final mountain stage. Did Pogi not have the legs, or just playing it safe? Former I think. Wondering if Jonas was also in the same boat?

Unlucky Oscar Onley, still one hell of a Tour from him.

Breakaway madness tomorrow I suspect. Another Healy special maybe?

Arensman needs to find a proper team.

Hmm would Visma go after him? I get the impression that they’ll be looking for a new anti Pogacar team to help Jonas next year. Sadly van Aert and Kus were not at his vest this year. Yates may have been shot after the Giro.

Bit if a strange tour with none of the UAE or Visma domestiques are anywhere near their leaders.

Yeah the legs. The first half of the Tour was brutal this year. Good to know they’re human in a way. Jonas was the big surprise. Hasn’t had a stage win but just didn’t have the legs to pick one up today

Incredible tour from Onley. Look forward to seeing him progress

I never saw an interview from Jonas after this stage. Not having the legs makes sense. Yesterday was a nuts stage. Shame that, would have been good to see him have another go today.

LOVE Stage 21 of the Tour.

That was FUCKING AMAZING!!!

What a final stage.

Wasn’t it just. Wow. Great call to neutralise the times and just make it a one off bike race. I’ve been hoping for a little but of Van Aert magic this tour and he delivered.

Bet the sprinters aren’t happy but they’re a special bunch anyway.

Wonder how happy they’ll be when that final stage becomes the new norm…

With the chance for Stage 21 removed, I’d imagine in future only a likely green jersey winner will be arsed killing himself over the Pyrenees/Alps.

Yeah why bother. No harm in shaking that stage up a bit but you’re always going to isolate the majority of the pelaton no matter what you do.

Not sure what a compromise would look like if any is even possible?

Maybe they’ll alternate??

I’d be happy with that. I find the Champs-Élysées incredibly thrilling, as well, so hopefully they find room for both.

Anyways…

10 Tour stage wins and a green jersey for Wout. He’s clearly just a little bit below MvdP, but he’s still a bloody outstanding rider.

Indeed. I had hoped to see him pile some pressure on UAE in the mountains but it didn’t quite happen. Not many of the domestiques really did much on the big mountain stages to be honest. It all disintegrated quickly to the favourites.

I still enjoyed watching it all though, even after Pogacar destroyed any resistance on the Hautocam. That took the edge off the following mountain stages a bit.

I am still in awe of what these guys are able to do though. The numbers, power, speed they put out are just super human and then they recover overnight and do it all again.

Need to figure out how to watch the Vuelta now on the cheap. Cause I’m a tightarse when it comes to paying for TV.

Was a brilliant Tour. Wout is my favourite cyclist so great to see him get a win. Hopefully Jonas and Remco can make up a bit of ground on Pog. And excited to see Onley develop
