Krajicek’s win also reminds me of Marat Safin’s US Open win.
Krajicek’s tennis in that Wimbledon was very scary, though.

Yeah he was in another slam final, Australian I believe, which was Federer’s first slam win.
Safin himself said that he didn’t feel bothered to work hard at his tennis. He comes from a well-to-do family and he was t too fussed about success. A pity as he was very talented.

Guys like Wawrinka and Safin in other eras would have won many more slams.
Certainly not their fault that Federer , Nadal and Djokovic had their peaks one after the other in relatively short time.
