Saying all this Henman, Draper and Norrie would give their right arm to have a grand slam next to their name as would many other British and none British tennis players.

Didn’t expect Sinner to lose that one.

Will be an interesting final.

What an incredible day of Tennis, how Novak is still operating at the top of the sport at his age is superhuman and once again has the chance to become the oldest player to win a slam.

Not used to setting my alarm for 8am on weekends, but here we are.

i was in sinners corner due to italian heritage.

now ill be watching the final just as a pure nuetral ( which is very rare for me watching sport as i always seem to have a bias even when i have no skin in the game)

itll depend on who preforms in the right spirit on the night… the Djoker was always someone i would barrack against for no other reason than he was so dominant in australia for such a long time that i wasnt really against him, but for ‘the other guy’

now hes 38 and the underdog…its hard not to want that fairytale…on the other hand, Carlos is a true gent of the sport and hard not to like aswell…

as i said, i truely nuetral game for me…ill end up wanting a good game but whoeve behaves and plays in theright spirit on the night…

Well done Carlos!

Youngest ever to complete the career Grand Slam at the age of 22!

Also, Jamie Murray is hard to listen to as an analyst coz he keeps pausing too much mid-sentence.

Why are all the brits a bit injury prone?

Good question. Especially the ones with big potential (Murray, Draper, Raducanu)

Just something that I thought about to be honest, maybe it’s the rich breeding :joy:
