If they are selling Gomez then it’s obvious Guehi is coming in whatever Glasner says.

Yeah - only makes any sense if Guehi or someone of that profile is coming in…

Liverpool news around 10 min.

How many arrivals does everyone think we’ll see tomorrow? 1? 2? …3?

I’d have said 2, maybe 2-3 out (loans probably)

Not listened to Romano

I wouldn’t be surprised at any amount between 0 and 2. Making a 3rd would actually surprise me.

I would expect 2. Not sure who we could see as a third.

Morgan Rodgers has been linked a few times during the window and is versatile and homegrown. It wouldn’t be a shock if we were interested but it feels unlikely at this point of the window.

We’re definitely interested, there has been links in previous windows too. I just think it unlikely that we would snap up someone like that tomorrow pretty much out of the blue. Also, Villa have probably sold Martinez which I would think would ease any financial concerns they have this window.

I would assume any move (if at all) for Rodgers would happen next year (or the year after) as we will probably be looking for someone to replace Mo, either immediately or from when his contract ends (depending on his performances)

Could be referring to just the general reaction fans have during the summer building hopes on who their club buys and sells. Although I suspect it is really more a comment about fans of other clubs after the window closes, seeing us top after 3 games and having somewhat strengthened.

Well seems like Isak is done so from that perspective we can’t be sad on that front.

It’s unfortunate if Joe leaves and his injury problems probably the main reason. Last night, Konate was good and after he went off, Joe showed that he can play at the highest level when fit.

I’m thinking more of the sad people will live in Newcastle than Liverpool.

I know nothing… but given the start we’ve had don’t think too many LFC fans will truly be sad if Isak doesn’t come. That more of a happy surprise in my mind if it happens than a big disappointment if it doesn’t.
