Liverpool have made a dramatic £2million move for Preston defender Ben Davies, Football Insider can reveal.
The Reds have set their sights on the 25-year-old as they look to address their defensive injury problems with the signing of a centre-half before tomorrow’s deadline.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that the Merseyside club have contacted North End about a last-gasp deal to hijack Celtic’s bid for the centre-back.
