All these Sarr write ups are all from a bullshit source in France. Not one source has a shred of detail. They just all copy shit and then never take the blame.
Think Sarr only comes in if Origi, Shaq, Wilson and Chamberlain are all sold. That seems very unlikely.
They got it from the lâEquipe tv channel I was watching it last night and they believe that Mbappe has cut his choice of next destination to RM and Liverpool. The pundits were debating which of the two teams he should chose and apart from the Klopp factor they voted at 56% that he should go to RM.
It wouldnât have to be Mane or Salah moving on if Mbappe were to come it could be Firmino. But I feel, based on noises, that if Real did fail to sign Mbappe next summer their plan would be Mane which theyâd try to paint as big of a win as Mbappe would have been. I also suspect (possibly completely incorrectly) that Mane would like all that fuss, exposure and attention as in some ways he massively misses out to Salah here. Especially wages/endorsements. I think all of Firmino, Mane and Salah are happy here but if we could be tempted to let one go I think it would be Firmino whilst if one of them could be swooned by another club I think it would be Mane.
So, just how unreliable IS the LâEquipe?
Like everyone else, I would be over the moon if Mbappe came next summer, even if one of Mo or Sadio departed. Their current levels are fairly similar, but Mbappe will improve further, and time will start to take a toll in the older players, as it always does.
Who would I rather stayed? Not overly bothered. It might boil down to what deals are on the table, and what the players want to do.
Imagine PSG want Mo in some sort of exchange and it helps Mbappe happen? OK then.
Imagine if Mo stays to play with Mbappe, but Sadio wants to try Barca or Real? OK then.
Too much uncertainty to speculate really, apart from saying weâd all be delighted if Mbappe were to come here.
From Mbappeâs perspective, would it make more sense to him to go to Madrid first and then join us, or vice versa? He wants to play with Madrid and maybe under Zidane and he gets both if he makes a move now. Thatâs not guaranteed 4 years from now.
On the other hand, he loses the prospect of playing for Klopp with us and one of the top teams in Europe now.
But if itâs just Madrid he wants to play for no matter who the manager is, moving here first makes more sense.
From our perspective, ideal would be him joining as a natural transition to one of our front 3, which means joining maybe 2-3 years from now. Just think, we might end up losing him pretty early rather than as a long term solution to our front 3 transition, if that âWant to play for Madrid once in lifeâ thing is true.
Love to see Mbappe here but it just ainât gonna happen.
Even if we did splurge for him,his wage demands would likely cause turmoil in the dressing room.
Of course if he would accept a decent packageâŚ
You canât join Real Madrid for the manager. Even if ZZ is still there next summer (never guaranteed there) thereâs no guarantee heâd still be manager by the end of Mbappes first season there.
He could come here next summer and go there in 7/8 years at his peak and everyone would be happy. And who knows? ZZ may have started his 3rd or 4th stint as manager there around that time anyway.
P2P and Messi to PSG.
Mo Mbappe swap, with extra coming to us to offset salary.
City unveiling a statue of Silva.
Man U taking out a ÂŁ200m loan from organized crime in order to buy Sancho, and tying Ole down to 10year irrevocable contract.
I think we factored this in, itâs those that Gambled who will struggle.
Anyone paying the bulk amount upfront I would be concerned for, I canât see fans before 2021
United right now are literally the epitome of âgoing around in circlesâ
Those clubs that spent heavy are mostly those that have âsuper backersâ. I dont know how financially secure Villa are, theyâve thrown a lot of money into the club the last couple of seasons.
not taking a position, but the addition of jotaâwhoâs best on the left by all indicationsâmight be something to consider & a mark on the âkeep moâ column
More noises about Doku. Apparently a Belgian outlet linking us again because Anderlecht want around âŹ30m for him to go towards âŹ90m debt. They want a buy and loan back deal.
If the transfer window were a fire, Ed would be this guy.
Get the feeling heâs the real deal I must say. Would love us to do a deal like that. Maybe not the 30m but the idea of leaving him there for the season.
This is OleâŚ
And here comes Luke ShawâŚ
sarr wasnât in watfordâs squad tonight, that GFFN report is still being recycled out there
