I knew someone will have a go at that for. But I was too lazy to edit.
If reports are true and Wilson turned down a move to Leeds, why in the fuck would he then choose Burnley??
Playing styles,Manager and club status puts Leeds head and shoulders above Burnley, even if they’ve only just got promoted, they just seem a better fit and a more natural footballing side than Dyche’s,unless it was a money/contract thing.
Not only that, I reckon Dyche won’t see the season out at Burnley. If Moyes or Hodgson get the chop, I can easily see Dyche being approached and jumping at the opportunit to “prove himself” at a higher profile club. So if Wilson is going there because of admiration for Dyche, he might end up regretting it and having to put up with Moyes as manager. He lives near Burnley doesn’t he?

At this point, I’d say Burnley is a better job than that sh*t show at West Ham. At least for Dyche.
because of admiration for Dyche
I’m sorry I’m not familiar with this concept!
I see him seeing out the season though. He’s carved a niche for himself out there as an overachiever. The fans there are relatively content with him finishing without relegation battles.
He was, apparently, disenchanted with the lack of funds to bring players in. He may well think that he’s achieved all that he can there and that it’s time to move on should an offer come his way.
Anyway, this is getting off topic…

This is good to see. Grujic’s (Now previous) agent is a fairly sketchy individual.

I’ve read, maybe from Nik, that there are groups of quite predatory agents who try to scoop up young talent in that region and then basically control them. Is this what was going on with Grujic?
Nothing to do with the club w.r.t Grujic , We’ve tried to do right by him. If the agent is too incompetent to get the right deals, He deserves to be getting rid of
Unfortunately, all the promising players here get snapped up early by agents who often work for really big names like Fali Ramadani and Pini Zahavi. Imagine someone like Luka Jović getting a move to Real Madrid of all clubs… That doesn’t happen without the influence of the biggest of agents (I forgot who brokered that deal but that’s easy to find).
I don’t think Grujić got this move because of that, he was recommended by Liverpool staff, he didn’t work out and the next transfer will be his most lucrative so far, so it’s expected that people around him will try to get something out of it.
as long as Liverpool get their price, I’m not bothered so much.
Brewster, Phillips and Wilson might be sold before we have our next League Cup game.
As for Grujic, Shaqiri and Origi i still believe putting them in the shop window played a big part in why Klopp started them yesterday. Was about to show possible suitors ‘look at our players not only are they top fit but also they are quality’.

I read that Grujic was recommended by Buvak (?), Klopp’s right hand man when he came here.
If Wolves will pay £30m for Chamberlain, much as I like the lad, I’d drive him to the airport myself!
LFC need to clear their wage bill to help counterbalance adding Thiago and Jota. And I feel that chances to play will be few and far between for Chamberlain now that we’ve added a bona fide 1st team midfielder and solid rotation winger.

Not for the wages issue but yeah if someone is offering decent money for Ox I’d reluctantly accept it this summer or next summer whenever offered. Just think he’s falling further and further down the pecking order and can’t stay fit long enough to really start kicking on with his performances. Every time he comes back he seems more subdued than he did before that big injury. At that point he seemed to really be kicking on with his performances and was going to be quite some player. Now he seems to play scared of overextending himself and becoming vulnerable to further injury. Which is understandable but he still gets injured anyway.
Ubermick will take him.
