What we have to judge them on is their current body of work and if Rodgers is still bottling CL places and Gerrard is still in Scotland then neither will be under serious consideration tomorrow or in two years time.
I love Indy Kaila. I think he’s a spoofer but he actually mentioned Edwards leaving days before anyone else.

I thought he was injured too but I guess a loan mitigates some of the risk. Another Mendes client for them so I suspect he’s lining up a longer term deal once the “try before you buy” loan is done.

Burnley’s valuation (reportedly) £40M. Makes sense, and IMO that’s a fair price for him. I am a big fan.
If Dan James gets £30M, then McNeil is worth £40M all day.

The prices mentioned here for Dan James and McNeil make me think Origi is worth that sort of sum too, and given he is out of favour at Liverpool, £20-25M would represent a bargain.
Valuations are crazy sometimes.

Yeah that’s where I am as well. Origi, IMO, is a £20M striker. Especially to a club that can play him every week as a starter.

Thing is, if we were going to sign someone in the next 24hrs 38 minutes we would normally have had some firm indication by now, even with Edwards notoriously keeping his cards close to his chest.
