Obviously Mbappe is likely to go to Real Madrid, and then after that, stay at PSG. But until he signs a new deal and it is announced, crazy as it is, there is an outside chance of him coming to Liverpool. I know, I know, shouldn’t do it to myself, etc…
Still, Mbappe to Liverpool, and a wounded PSG flex their financial muscles to pip Real Madrid to Mo’s signature, giving us the money to buy Bellingham and Nkunku.
While we’re at it, what about Kylian and Jude in funded by Divock to PSG (link up with Gini to hammer Barca) and Karius to Real (he’s already won them one CL).

Until he signs somewhere I don’t think it’s completely bat shit crazy to think he wouldn’t at least consider us as an option. Yes we could never match the wages of many other clubs, so he’d have to take a pay cut which is incredibly unlikely. But still not impossible.
I think he’s nailed on going to Real and this is just part of the posturing up until that point.
I am surprised the Real agreement hasn’t been announced, could have since January as far as my limited understanding goes.
Maybe just waiting till after the CL ties as might have considered it in bad taste when they had matches against each other coming up?
There were two set of rumours though that would lend doubt to the predictable move;
1; He was wanting to be able to play left forward, his favourite role, at his new club, at least as his most regular position. He doesn’t get this at PSG due to Neymar and due to Vinicious looking like a mainstay for years to come now I think Real would be needing MBappe at CF too.
2; The supposed reservations over working under Ancelloti, now that ZZ isn’t the boss he’s supposed to be a bit less enthused about the move. Especially as ZZ may be PSG boss soon.
Still think either the Real move is happening but all parties wanted to wait till after the games before announcements were made or ZZ being lined up as PSG manager for next season has persuaded him to sign an extension but he’s waiting till ZZ is in charge first.
If Jurgen gets Mo to sign for another 3years… then why would we even want Mbappe
For in 3yrs Mbappe will only be wanting to move on again somewhere else…

Of our attackers not named Origi (out of contract) I still see Mane as most likely departure this summer.
Maybe Diaz and Jota between them would be a more likely combination to see Mbappe not getting his chosen role but I’ve been quite impressed with Diaz versatility.
Personally I’d love us to move back to 442 diamond with any 2 from Salah, Mbappe, Jota and Diaz as our forwards but realistically I don’t see it happening obviously.
I’ve seen him play on the right before, mainly for France, not sure what his preferred position is. I think Mane is 95% gone, if we are able to extend Mo.
MBappe is an incredible player but I just don’t see him a a Liverpool player. Notwithstanding the financial aspect, he doesn’t seem as good a fit for us as Diaz. We’ve never signed a ‘Galactico’. Even our best still had something to prove.
