Makes you wonder like… Bellingham and Rice as a double pivot would be pretty special…
Mmm looks alright!

Looks very inexperienced lol.
Also lacks a lot of pace behind Darwin.
Should be able to see how that double performs in a few weeks time.
Rice is a really good player. Some on this forum have a thing against him, or English players in general, but he is quality. He’s easily good enough to be a piano carrier in a top side.
Not sure where he fits in with us, or whether he’ll be overpriced or not, but he would improve this midfield signifcantly.
Would be nice to see us sign a couple of physcially dominant midfielders. Whoever the Konate or Nunez equivalents are, go out and get one. Two would be very nice.
When England invariably get bounced out of the world cup to france one of the main complaints will be how tepid our possession was and our inability to control the game in midfield. Yet people think transferring that midfield into our team would be a step forward.
Well because we’d have the structure around that midfield to help it reach its potential. England doesn’t have Ali, Konate, VVD behind the midfield, nor do they have Salah, Diaz, Nunez, Jota, Firmino in front of it.
England’s whole setup is to wipe Maguire’s arse
Vastly different playing under Southgate and Klopp. Southgate gets a nosebleed if his side have more than 2 attackers on the pitch.
Don’t forget, that they will be hamstrung by playing for a usless and tactically inept manager in that time?
The addition of England/International football to this discussion makes no sense, and your answer addresses that perfectly.
Playing week in week out under Klopp makes good players better. Rice, Bellingham or alternatives cannot be judged at WC level. Its poles apart from the Liverpool game.
“______ are leading the race to sign _______”
What does this even mean?
We need clicks / sales, but have no information to generate same…
It’s measured in letters of signatures under contract, apparently we’ve only got an ‘ingham’ left and are already on first name basis with Watzke.
There is a secret clause in Fifa that for certain players, clubs can trigger a cross continent marathon race and all sporting directors interested in the player have to participate… Whoever wins signs the player. It’s no surprise we are leading… Why do you think Edward’s and Ward were doing this?
Leading the race to sign Bellingham
The Human race probably.
Caught offside probably still releasing articles over us ‘leading the race’ to sign Simao Quaresma and Turan
I wonder if it is Ssssssterling inside that bear costume :0)
That’s great preparation, but what if the race to sign him is a shorter distance? Do we have anyone on the transfer team training in the 100m or 200m?
Building a successful football team is a marathon, not a sprint.
We should at least start jogging then.
