The Unreliable Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 2)

City need to fill their English quota, so they are like fuck it, lets buy the best (read most overpriced).

City perhaps Iā€™ve got doubts he would go PSG.

I do think if itā€™s next summer then itā€™s going depend if we can improve enough to make top 4.

I reckon heā€™s going to come. We will be in the ballpark on the transfer fee, but others will better the wages, but he will still come.

I do feel there is a genuine friendship and respect with Henderson that might just hand it to us. If he was hanging out with others Iā€™d think but seems he is mostly pictured with Hendo and I think Hendo is someone he seems to respect.

Always helps, guess we will see I do think a good second half will help.

I think I read that he has a mentor relationship with Hendo. He looks to Jordan for advice and guidance. He bestie in the game is Trent.

Whatā€™s that film where that metal guy gets shut down and heā€™s having to put every last fibre of energy into dragging his legs a couple of feet.

Thatā€™s Grealish.

Whoā€™s watched the 10 games then?

I canā€™t believe people still get drawn in to rating a player by international tournaments.

Do you think weā€™d actually sign a player these days based off a good tournament?

I think @Sweetingā€™s likely to be referring to fans?

We moved so quickly to sign Diao after his performances in the 2002 world cup that we went back in time and signed him before the tournament started.

I must say that is a bizarre statement. Why canā€™t what a player is doing at international level be replicated at club level if coached correctly? We regularly see it happening the other way round.

I think we paid north of 80 to sign a player who did well against us in two games, so why not?

No, we obviously arenā€™t interested but this fella has been creeping into fans conversations more and more over the last couple of weeks and its seemingly on the back of playing for Morocco. A 25 year old none of us had ever heard of a month ago is now a good option because he played when Morocco beat South Korea?*

*Disclaimer: I made that bit up, no idea who Morocco have been playing against.

Because international football is a much lower standard of football than the club game.
