Well yes but the other option is he stays at PSG for another season and that route seems to be becoming more untenable by the day.
Why is it untenable?
He has a contract. That contract pays him 100m, whether PSG want him to play in the reserves or notā¦
So you think heād sit out a year of his career in the PSG reserves rather than play a year in Saudia Arabia for an ungodly sum of tax free cash? And all the while heāll be subjected to incredible scrutiny and pressure from all kinds of parties.
Maybe he will, but thereās a Euros next summer hell no doubt have an eye on. I think it might just be an attempt to flush out Madrid though.

Signed a contract though didnāt he. If they choose not to pick him thatās their right isnāt it? Maybe not the reserves but they arenāt forced to play him.
Didnāt his last contract state that he had a certain amount of power with the team ? Maybe being included etc

Franceās National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) has threatened legal action against Paris Saint-Germain over the clubās attempts to force Kylian Mbappe to accept a summer transfer.
Having already confirmed his decision not to trigger his contract extension beyond next summer, Mbappe has been warned by PSG that he will be sold immediately if he does not agree to a new deal.
To ramp up the pressure on Mbappe, PSG decided to leave the 24-year-old out of their pre-season squad, insisting to the French forward that his only options are to agree to leave or, preferably, sign an extension.
PSGās tactics have been blasted by the UNFP, who accused the Ligue 1 side of breaking French law by intentionally forcing Mbappe to accept poorer working conditions.
āThese players - all of them - must enjoy the same working conditions as the rest of the professional workforce,ā the union said.
"The UNFP feels it would be useful to remind managers that putting pressure on an employee - via the deterioration of their working conditions, for example - to force them to leave or accept what the employer wants constitutes moral harassment, which French law firmly condemns.
āSo, yes, the UNFP reserves the right to take civil and criminal action against any club that behaves in this way.ā
