Think @Thomas1195 has been a one man protest movement on his own regarding Morton.
Curtis is anything but lazy.
Some rumours of an attitude, Billy big bollocks type thing. He obviously wants to be the main man somewhere, and he is nowhere near good enough to be that here, so good luck to him.
Iāll give you arrogant or a bit selfish but lazy I canāt accept. He has consistently been in our top 5 for distance covered per game since joining the first team.
Where are these rumours from? I see this said in almost every topic about Curtis, I have never see it verified once with an incident or a specific person he managed to piss off.
Everytime a player leaves the ābest fans in the worldā accuse them of the weirdest stuff. āAn Attitudeā bullshit.
Curtis is a top lad. Been close to a starting spot since he made it into the first team. Too good to be on our bench but not good enough to be a regular starter.
Weāre receiving a good amount of money for him and heās not joining a rival.
Don“t know about top lad but I think we can“t really complain about his attitude in terms of what we have seen on the pitch.
Itās a bit like when you break up with your girlfriend. You arenāt going to accentuate her good points!
We saw the on field spat with Szobo over the captainās armband. Even if it was a storm in a tea cup, it should have been a storm in a tea cup in the dressing room. And there have been a few whispers about him not being overly nice to people.
As outsiders weāve no way of knowing any of that stuff.
Good luck to Curtis Jones. I think he will do well in Italy.
De Zerbi left only about 2 weeks after his first game, and Marseille as a club went into chaos with lots of additional changes behind the scenes. Itās a pretty shit situation to be in as a player with only a couple of months left on a short term loan deal and the new manager seemingly tried to stabilize the situation with players who didnt already have one foot out of the door.
Correct, his role is an extra body in the form of a senior pro who can fill in a couple places. We could manage without but if thereās space in the squad thatās his role.
Even now with the Jones news itās a case of a lot of people not really rating him but needing a replacement as Nyoni isnāt enough.
Maybe itās the optimist in me recognising the criticism more as it chimes against what I feel. That is the squad was better than it showed last season and thatās why the manager has gone but all those players who won us a title havenāt turned to shit and none of the players we bought last summer performed as well as expected.
Here we go:
Saliba
Gabriel
Hincapie
Mosquera
Guehi
Dias
Guardiol
Jacquet
Leoni
Colwill
Lacroix
Vuskovic
Yoro
Van Hecke
Konsa
Fofana
Hill
Collins
Botman
Bijol
If we had a surplus of CBs and I had to get rid of one Iād move Virgil on before any of those UNLESS it left us with 4 CBs where nobody had, say, at least 100 PL appearances.
No more Lallana turns inside our own box, fantastic.
Door has opened for Nyoni to step up and grab the chance.
Hmm but not a body that you would want to rely on for any period.
Perhaps. I think I attribute it less to the manager than most. Yes I think he was bad but the individual decisions from the players in games I saw concerns me and isn“t something (in my view) you can just blame on the manager.
I“m a bit concerned about Wirtz as well. Only pre season of course but the same issues were there. Let“s hope Iraola can get him firing.
Iāll give you arrogant or a bit selfish but lazy I canāt accept. He has consistently been in our top 5 for distance covered per game since joining the first team.
Ok. Headless chicken then! Running with no real tackling or scoring. Waste still.

I still do not understand memes. Use words!

Fair enough. Sorry!
I see Man U bid £65m for Baleba. Jones out for £30m - surely Baleba is a bit of what we need?
Youād take Leoni and Jacquet ahead of Van Dijk, who have between them less than 90 minutes on the pitch for Liverpool?
Van Dijk was bad last season, but some of these arenāt fit to lace his boots even now.
