I’m confused by this entire article… we haven’t signed him, we haven’t even expressed we are after him, is Abbie dating him, is this a come and get me plea?
Look at the frustrations with Dom last season. How many games were people losing their shit at him putting his hand up as if to “slow it down” while taking all the momentum out of a possible break and then Downing the ball back to the CB. It is difficult to express how much of a 180 this is for him, someone who arrived described as a player who worked his arse off the win the ball back which is good because he loses it a lot as well by trying to make things happen. It was so clearly a conscious act of trying to do what the manager wanted but something his brain and body didnt want to do. That applied for a lot of them
Went to the trouble of looking her up on LinkedIn. Four years ago she was working in Schuh and joined Reach as a TV and Showbiz writer.
I think it’s fair to say she’s as likely to know what’s going on at Liverpool FC as I am to know about what’s going on in Love Island or at a high street shoe retailer in Glasgow.
Ah but she could be dating Wharton ![]()
Also it would screw up PSG who would be left with enough wingers to fill a full starting 11
Another unreliable rumor:

FWIW, I am a fan of Adams and he was really vital for Iraola’s Bournemouth teams as the kind of #6 who defends very well. I remember watching a couple videos about Iraola and they highlighted how immense Adams was in disrupting attacks and in ball recovery.
But he’s also very limited offensively. I’m not sure he’s capable of making the kind of line-breaking passes and dribbling breakthroughs that can set the stage for an attack. He also seems to get hurt often.
Adams could maybe come in and be a better Endo?
I like Stiller, good player.
Yeah haven’t we had a couple of unreliable rumours towards Stiller in recent years.
They’re very different types of players. Stiller is quite similar to MacAllister in that he does a lot of things well. He’s a good passer, a good tackler, rarely gives the ball away, and is excellent in tight spaces. However, he lacks the athleticism to consistently cover large areas defensively.Adams is like a more athletic Endo. I’d be ok with both players, but I think Adams’ athleticism is a better fit for the league.
Stiller’s athletic profile is probably similar to Wharton’s, although I’d say Wharton is the superior passer, especially over longer distances. Stiller is an excellent midfielder, but if I had to choose between Adams and Stiller, I’d lean towards Adams because I think his physical attributes are better suited to the league and he’d be cheaper.
Would prefer Wharton over both of them. He has physical limitations, but he’s one of the best passers in the league and I miss watching Trent or Alonso spray passes from deep.
I would stay away from Adams, due to injury concerns.
Agreed. Even worse its apparently 35m euros and thats the package. Inter have probably agreed to payus a couple of cans and some crisps each year for the next 50 years with inflation getting them over the line at the end.

Yeah until Hugo is back it makes sense to have another experienced CF. Unless Spurs or someone else ponies up £65m + I don’t see why we’d sell him now.
Careful. This is a lawyer you are dealing with. And the specific words he used were ‘if they were in our squad, I’d move Van Dijk on before them’. And in the case of players under about 23 you probably would, now Virg is 35.
If he’d said they were better than Van Dijk, I’d be joining in with the chorus of ‘Bullshit!’
Can’t run though.
I find it hard to look past his nose. I know it’s wrong to mention physically looks but imagine the opposition fans songs!
If the sole criterion is age, then Van Dijk does go before all of these guys, but if we are taking into account other parametres, like quality, Van Dijk even at 35 is still above most of them.
Besides, in last season’s defensive setup, most defenders would have looked just as bad if not worse.
According to TIA:
• It’s a day full of loan news, with Reds right-back Calvin Ramsay attracting interest from Scottish club St Mirren, according to the reliable Paul Joyce
And Chiesa is not in the squad for Newcastle, so there’s another non-HG out the door. Expecting a Paris to Blackpool flight any time now.
