Your accounts look better (at least they do this year) when you spend 100m and raise 60 than if you spent 50 and brought in 10 and there, which is kind of what Barca and Juve did with Arthur and Pjanic back in the day. Is it possible 20m was thrown on top of the deal for Rodgers as a way to scare off competition and done in exchange for a similarly inflated fee going the other way?

Surely not…but those that claim they play on the left are just being naive and should come to terms with the reality that they want to cut inside and attempt to shoot from the crowded centre

Serie A is just an arbitrage op at this point, buying damaged goods (mostly English) from the prem on the cheap so they can sell them back to the prem in 2-3 years for double the money

One of the recent rumours I’ve read, it appears the Reds could be interested in AS Monaco 22 year old #6 Lamine Camara. I feel he would be a great piece of business if we can get him. They supposedly rejected a 50m euro bid from another club.
Here is how he compares to Caicedo and Tonali.
If we paid 60m pounds to obtain Camara’s services how many of you would be happy with that deal?
