I only know what Iâve seen in analysis videos about Lamine Camara but Iâd be very happy with us signing him for 60m, as he would look like an actual attempt to add some cover for our defense into midfield.
Iâve heard the stats seem to like Camara. Havenât seen him play much, only a few games, so I donât know. Did the mandatory youtube scouting back when I saw we were linked, around the time Sangare was linked as well, the end of last season.
Watched him during the world cup, and my initial thought was scepticism due to his lack of physicality. That was in the game against France though; watched him in the pre-season game against Liverpool and thought it looked like less of a potential issue.
For me personally thatâs not the most important thing, but it has become increasingly important in the PL, so I donât know. Iâm unsure, but fundamentally Iâm a yes man when it comes to signings, so if Iraola wants him thatâs all I need to know.

I was watching that friendly live, and honestly he didnât stand out at all to me I donât think.
However, apparently he was immense in their first league game.

Remember that first goal he scored against Arsenal. My goodness he moved as if he was jet-propelled!
I thought the same although he did win a few tackles and was combative.
For me the game passed him by a bit. And a few moments where he wasnÂŽt in the right position, like when Wirtz played it behind their full back in the video and especially for our first goal where we walked through them.
I suppose as one player itÂŽs hard to do much when your team is overrun as a unit sometimes.
From what I have seen of him he is a good player though. Uses the ball quite well and is aggressive in the tackle. Would be an interesting signing and if we could improve his positional play a little and I think there could be a very good player there.
