If I remember correctly, Brentford pulled out of a deal for him because their medical department had found a significant issue with him, though I canā€™t remember if it had something to do with his knee, Iā€™d have to look it up. Heā€™s really talented but doesnā€™t strike me as consistent, though, Iā€™d ideally like a more consistent winger at the moment, even if his ceiling was lower than that of Diomande or Barcola.

If Fernandes is going to Spurs for 85M, Tonali is going to to Spurs for up to 100M, and Anderson for 116M, then Curtis Jones has to fetch at least 60M.

I thought he looked sharper than he looked for most of his (limited) time on the pitch for us this past season. To my mind he is working his way to optimal fitness and will do well under Iraola, with two wingers helping to open it up and play him in.

Hereā€™s hoping.
