We’re going to be linked to every Spanish footballer who becomes available, whether realistic or not.

Hugo Larsson. 6’2 22 year old Swedish midfielder. Touted as the next Jude Bellingham. Thoughts?

From the BBC, lays bare just how bad inflation has got.

I thought i saw Camara being linked with a move to Newcastle yesterday. Havent really seen anything close to reliable to say we’re targeting him but i dont know who this
Abdel Hamed is.

Well gazumping Newcastle is LFCs primary transfer strategy in recent windows

The path is CLEAR for Pedro Neto to Liverpool!

Chelsea have set their valuation and are standing firm on the price tag 🛑🔵

BUT HERE IS THE KEY UPDATE: Liverpool haven’t matched the fee yet, BUT Neto’s agent has already agreed personal terms should the Reds decide to make an official offer! The player side is 100% done and dusted, it’s just down to the clubs to agree on the money now

Neto is keen on the move and everything is ready on his end. The deal is just waiting for Liverpool to make their move!

This would be interesting simply because we were known to have strong interest when he was at Wolves, prior to his injury.

Could you post the source, please?

No credible “domestic” sources so far; I’ve had a look, and the story originates in the Portuguese media, citing people close to Neto who say he would be open to a move to Liverpool.

There are numerous sources out there all basically saying the same thing… Where this Unreliable Transfer Rumour started, God only knows.
To me, it seems as though the noise is coming from the player himself and his entourage, rather than LFC.

Sounds highly unreliable, but even with that in mind… no thanks.

He was an interesting talent years ago at Wolves, but he wouldn’t merit a big move (to us) anymore.

It may well just be Ronaldostans raging against the tide, but social media is full of videos showing how much of their football has broken down at Neto, arguing that he not Ronaldo is who should be criticisized. Given how weird he is I would not even be suroprised to learn it is a paid campaign from the man himself, but even if it were it doesnt change how bad the packages of Neto have been.

Its a big no from me, Jim

Looks more of a holding midfielder to me, and a solid one.

Any reason why he wasn´t playing for Sweden at the world cup? Assume he´s injured. Edit; apparently he isnt injured

Course he would. So would I. Is there a credible argument that he’d be a worthwhile addition?

I mean you copied and pasted it from somewhere, right?

Yeah right obviously…
From where from whom or what I have no recall… If I get time or the inclination to backtrack and source the actual article, I will do just for you… If it is something that is gnawing away at ya, let me know and I will try and speed up my next reply.. :+1:
There are literally dozens of posts stating same news/rumour all over the internet, with some that are putting their own slant on it.
Like I said, if it’s so important to ya, let me know and I will try and remember which article it actually was… but as it is only a titbit of trivia, it might not be worth any extra effort from either of us…

Didn’t someone post that about 9 posts ago without a source, so Romano is the source or he’s just stolen it :joy:
