I don’t think we will sell him in January, but if he continues like he has, I can see us entertaining a sale, especially if it helps facilitate a move for a player we covet, like Olise. I really (like really) want him to come good and prove everyone wrong, but he is objectively not performing anywhere close to the price paid for him. He is not beyond scutiny, and he’s getting plenty of it.
I highly doubt there will be movement for Wirtz in January and I also doubt Olise would at this moment be motivated to come to Liverpool. We’re talking about quite possibly a next world transfer record, if Olise is to move with years left on his Bayern contract. One day in the future, if he wants to return to the PL and to a big club and if Liverpool are actually competing for and winning things, maybe. But this is not the reality right now.
