Yeah - it’s sad that he wasn’t deemed good enough to stay and be part of the squad, but I guess Wirtz/Szob are way ahead of him in his favoured position.
I hope both he and Bajetic live up to their potential.

I like the move. We should be shopping at all levels of the market. Top end like Barcola to improve us right now. Emerging talent, like this goalie and the likes of Ndukwe, and if they fulfill their potential it will be very shrewd business.
The fee seems high, but if it is heavily weighted on various clauses then it will be win-win if we pay the full amount.

So City have paid 125m for Enzo but does anyone else agree that he is a vastly over-rated player? That’s shedloads of cash for a guy who basically bulldozes into other players, gets booked a lot and doesn’t to my eyes appear to do much else. He’s a good tackler for sure but not much else and certainly not a like for like for Rodri.
I just suspect that this is one that isn;t going to work because he doesn’t fit into their style of play. Not that the money means anything to them.

I don’t know if you can remember Pat Jennings whose signature move was catching crosses one-handed with his giant paws. This kid might be bringing that back.
