Thiago Alcantara (CM) Bayern Munich

I admit i have not seen enough (anything) of this guy.

How can you people be so sure he will be an instant hit?

:thinking:I believe one of my early comments is maybe this is a transition in transfer business from building a title team to maintaining a title team. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Bit harder to recruit when your lads are the the best.

So, Mark Goldbridge was right then!

Have only just seen the news. Great stuff. Made up and over the moon.

So who’s leaving? The Guardian still thinks it’ll be Gini, but that may not be the case. I expect the sale of Origi and maybe Wilson would cover this.

It’s still quite an expensive hat - fortunately my daughter can bake to order (for me) so it’s probably going to be a chocolate chip smartie one (which may or may not be a metaphor for life…)Sorry Cynical the pork pie hat was off the menu…

Damn. I was looking forward to that!

I can’t mark everything. I can only mark a word doing that. And I have a normal Samsung smart phone.

That should work on mobile. Just highlight the text and click quote from the options. Or clink on the arrow in the bottom right of their post, and then the speech bubble in the post (next the the BIU buttons)

Hit the little reply button on post you want, then hit the speech button in upper left of dialog box that pops up

Speech bubble works, thanks! But yeah it is strange,my phone is refusing to mark an entire post. Ok any case, speech bubble i can remember now that I have done it once, so thanks!

I think at this point in his career it’s fair to call him ‘proven quality’ (or is it ‘quality-proven’ ?).

:+1:t2: Just be careful about quoting loads of posts!

Absolutely. But his question is still valid, since he needs relations with his fellow players. We all know after all, that a lot of times, grass is not greener on the other side of the fence and often even superstars become duds despite being absolutely spectacular players on paper. But lets hope he will gell nicely

From the Twitter thread (I don’t know how to quote across different threads, so apologies to @Kopstar )

That must mean that they have been reading TIA, especially the thoughts of @AnfieldRdDreamer

Sure. You can never be one hundred percent sure. This one is pretty close to hundred percent sure though imo.

Let’s hope he stays injury free and enjoy the ride.

Far too much praise probably fairer to say a broken clock is right twice a day and I am that clock!

Re the different threads thing, if after you’ve hit reply, you click on the little arrow next to the name and avatar of the person you’re replying to, you get a drop-down menu with different options - one of which is to quote it in a different thread.

Can’t wait to see him. Rips to shreds the old How to Get a Point off Liverpool handbook the rest of the league have been working on these last seasons.

Just when they think they got the answers, Klopp changes the questions. Now, we need to see him crack Pep over his wee baldy head with a coconut…

Springing off from the mood of the day, I was the first person to call for Fabinho as a CB*. In fact, I’ve got a proud history of wanting midfielders to be played as CBs going back to Gerrard in the 13/14 season when Skrtel was burning me head out.

*Not being serious.

Pretty sure I was the first person to be posting about Fab as a centre back. And I was first with that Lynch article too.

But I won’t go on about it.
