Very nice video. I didn’t know his Dad was in the Brazilian world cup squad.
Thiago seems like a very stylish player and he is multi-lingual which is great.
So, he is the real deal. My worry is his injury history, EPL is a rough and physical league. Is he going to be a regular or play like half the games and Champions league games?
If he signs tomorrow (friday) can he go Into the squad for Sunday

Bet Pep had a shoe laces taken off him as well as all the sharp objects removed from there fucking wank pot of a training ground
I’m really looking forward to learning how to fucking quote in this new site
That’s better…
I bet Pep had to have his shoe laces removed and all sharp objects from their wank pot of a training ground had to be hidden when he found out
Fucking genius I am

One of the biggest issues i thought we’d have with Thiago, would be him acclimatising to the UK,being an Italian born,Spanish bread Brazilian,i thought it would take awhile for him to learn the lingo and settle down,i had no clue he spoke a word of English, infact it’s better than mine.
Great deal and signing when it happens,i’m not really concerned about the age,i see 30 as the new 25 now, seeing as we see a lot of players still playing at a high level well into the mid 30’s+ now,get a good 3-4 years out of him, take over from Milner as an experience player, job done.

This! Is the rub…
Fine baller that he is , we have to wait and see how he takes to the bone-mill that is a Liverpool fitness routine on your average Tuesday…
As long as he’s registered with the premier league by midday.
Completely agree with my Welsh brother back there

Mmm
I mean to be honest even if he did sign in time I wonder if Klopp would bother dropping him
In the deep end by putting him
In the bench… but maybe
I can’t see it. He hasn’t trained with us yet and even if he does train tomorrow, I can’t see that being enough. Then again he is a world class talent and I’m sure it won’t take long until he adjusts to the way we play.
You spelt “dictates” wrong.

He’s 29, not 30.
Still wouldn’t really understand an objection based on that fact either way though. 30 years old is not the end of a player’s career - in fact they should just about be entering that lovely the where they have 10+ years professional experience and be in just about the best shape of their life.

true but with a 4-year deal he’d be 33 by the time the deal runs out though
Great midfielders like Xavi and Iniesta especially those who does not depend too much on pace played at a high level well into the mid 30s. Granted the spanish league is different from the English league, I think Thiago if his health managed well, could play at a high level beyond 33.

One thing I like doing when signing a quality player is looking at other fans reactions to it, especially of the club said player is leaving, gives you somewhat of an idea about just how good (or bad) of a deal we’re getting. Needless to say with Thiago, Bayern fans are absolutely gutted he’s gone and rival fans are pissed off we’ve got such an insane deal for such a quality player. Just makes it all the more exciting.

Everyone we have bought under Klopp basically gets blooded into the team slowly. So I don’t really expect him to be starting outside cup games for a month or so.
Good thing I am five hours behind…maybe I will wake up to a photo with a red shirt!
