Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB) Real Madrid

You have no proof on this weeks months years shite every one keeps saying. It keeps getting said because its makes you feel better.

How did he cost us a few exactly did Trent say no to any transfers. The only talk of a transfer was in Jan which the club rejected.

Trent fulfilled his contract which he was fully entitled too.

Ok lets no use Jurgen lets use Keita, Ox and a few others the club wound there contracts down and got

Oh so he just thought about not signing a new deal last week and knocked out a quick goodbye video. Sounds plausible.

He cost us a fee because he’s leaving for nothing.

Yes he fulfilled his contract, no argument there.

No, no, let’s stick with Klopp because your argument was there was no difference. Or are you now acknowledging that the situations are in fact entirely different.

It’s the only way some will feel they can voice their dissatisfaction with the entire situation. I’m not really arsed which side people fall down on, I do think it was daft that some fans continued to boo his every touch though. By all means boo as he came on, but once he’s on he’s trying to help Liverpool win a game of football and that was obviously going to be counter productive.

We all have an opinion, but our voice isn’t heard on match days and as I have mentioned we don’t live in the City and many of us aren’t Scousers so we don’t live and breathe it on daily basis amongst other Liverpool fans.

We all know that Scousers/Liverpudlians feel they have a different type of togetherness, like a family or a tribe and thats why I have tried to see it from their point of view and watched the likes of the Anfield wrap and Redmen TV to hear and get a feel for what they are thinking and they are ‘hurt’ because they feel Trent, one of their own has turned his back on the family and gone against his own words.

I have no problem with people having an opinion, but I agree with Jaffod, calling those match day fans mindless scum and other derogatory terms for voicing their opinion is wrong.

I am in NZ so I too get up at silly hours to watch and the other point is moot because you are stereotyping that all those fans are on a poor wages and if they decide to buy a shirt is their choice and they make a decision that they can afford to do so.

As I have said again numerous times I wouldn’t have booed him, I’m not that type, but I understood why other fans, who aren’t scum or mindless idiots, would boo.

You don’t get it, who is being booed, Trent a Scouser, someone who is from the City considered to be one of their own and who has turned their back and shunned a mutual loved one and at a time when Liverpool are top of the pile, competing with the team he has chosen and in my eyes a better team.

Yes, it is double standards as I believe if it had been Mo or Virg they wouldn’t have been booed, but then again they are at the twilight of their careers whereas Trent is in his prime.

We are by far the least toxic supporters and the scenes after our triumph agaisnt Spurs would far far outweigh any boos. For me it would make players strive and work harder for the adulation and not want any boos, if not they aren’t the right players for us.

Changing narrative now because there is no proof for this ages months years shite Okay got you.

I have never mentioned about being a proper fan, you will have read my posts, as you have a fixation on me, and know it is the difference being a fan from afar, which I am, to one being in the city, a scouser.

But that wouldn’t change from you trying to make me look bad.

At least one thing, you can write more than one sentence.

Read my reply to Redalways

Then they are the wrong players, the euphoria from our league win far exceeds a few boos, we are by far the best fans

Ha! You were the one who compared it to Klopp and are now moving the goalposts because you realise how ridiculous that was. Classic deflection tactics to try and flip to a different focus.

And if you think Trent has only just come to this conclusion then all power to you. Doesn’t mean you’re right and you have even less to suggest that’s the case than those that reckon it’s been months in the making.

Yep…turned his head…Trent has stated he still loves this club…but after the Sunday reception…will he play for us again??..will he ever be seen at Anfield again??..will he have to cut all ties with Anfield/Liverpool/and his fans…who knows…who knows anything really…we are all summizing whats happening…when is it happening…but as I said before…the poor lad looked lost on the field…and the grandma in me wanted to put an arm round him…I know that sounds sad…but that’s just me…

It is really sad , he has given so much to LFC and LFC has reciprocated it. I really hope those that booed can forgive him, they have made their point, now forgive and forget.

Or just forget and move on. We’ve got a trophy lift to celebrate :trophy:

Can’t wait for the celebrations when we get presented the trophy against palace

I didn’t need to make you look bad you managed all that on your own.

There you are, it is amazing you don’t seem to have been in TIA long but are already known as being snide without context or explanation and add nothing to any debates.

Maybe it’s time to move on now?

Everyone has had their say. Some people think the booing was wrong. Some people think the fans have every right to voice their opinion. Nobody is right and nobody is wrong.

I suspect that now the moment has passed, we can just get on with the rest of the season and look forward to the trophy lift.

This is true…no-one is right…no-one is wrong…most of us have voiced our opinion and

again not everyone has the same opinion…it would be a bugger if we all thought the same,… life would be so boring…lets see what happens in the next 2 games…then it’s the trophy celebration…then the open bus celebration…:bottle_with_popping_cork::bottle_with_popping_cork::bottle_with_popping_cork::amphora::amphora::amphora:
