Which CB do you want?

A few reliable journos reporting Kabak is £1m loan fee and £18m option to buy.

For the outlay and potentially what it could do for our season it’s massive, we still have Fabinho and Hendo around to fall back if needs be up it will allow Klopp to rotate for the first time since about October.

Still feel the title is beyond us but if Kabak can rise to his potential then I still feel we can press on in Europe without damaging our league form, that was my niggling doubt if we could beat Spurs and West Ham, it would help us no end in getting top 4 but you can’t expect Fabinho and Hendo with Phillips occasionally to get you through without risk to both.

Kabak allows you to now rotate and we will see with Davies.

After everything that had gone wrong this season, I was almost getting resigned to fighting for top four and regrouping again for next season.

Now, on the back of two good wins in London, plus shoring up the central defence, it almost feels as though anything is possible again.

Strangely just found an article ABOUT the article that I read that identified Carmo;

How are you doing today @Neukölln :innocent: :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I qualified all my posts saying that if he was signed, I would absolutely support the player without question.

I do think it’s a good situation here for him. The stability and emotional intelligence of The Boss and the squad will only help Kabak. I also posted that I love the fact it’s an audition. He needs to come in and play and shut everything else out. PL is a step up to what he’s accustomed to in BL and decisions have to be made even quicker than he was making them previously.

All that said, he’ll be surrounded with exponentially higher quality on the pitch than he was at Schalke. Meaning, all he has to do is his job and nothing more. He also has to keep his emotions in control and he will do fine. He’s still a boy. 20 years old.

I’m interested to see how it all goes for him and I hope it’s a perfect match, for us and for him. There could be no better situation in all of world football for him.

It’s all kicking off in Marseille by the way

Edwards put in a bid for Tapsoba? That’s good to hear actually. I like that.

When does it not?

:joy:

I guess if some of these guys are our long term targets, contact this last week sets up a move in the summer quite nicely.

It’s also a message to Kabak: if you want to make your deal permanent, you’d better be bloody good.

Umtiti as well, according to Pearce.

Benoît Badiashile also according to a few.

The sad thing is now we have played our hand… The teams looking at the likes of Upamecano all have some excellent alternatives, or even new primary targets.

Obviously depends if its true, but not going to lie half of them I’d never heard of before yesterday - Caleta-Car and Carmo for example, now if we don’t sign them in the summer I’ll be gutted.

Why? If Kabak looks ace I’ll be happy to recruit him.

Gutted about players you’ve never seen play? I’d have liked Botman who I’ve seen a few times since the links, the rest I haven’t the foggiest about to be fair.

It all kicked off the other day with fans being kept away from the training ground by police. What happened this time?

Have you not seen Villa Boas press conference? He said he’s resigned and wants out right now… but the board have ignored his calls, had a bit of a meltdown live… Said he didn’t want the midfielder they signed.

Was tongue in cheek  more when you read any write-up online most players linked to us are the 2nd coming of Van Dijk.

He’s always been a bit of a case himself but wow, that just takes the cake. Wow.

He offered to resign, but the board rejected his offer. Then sacked him.

How childish can you get!
