Rayan actually might be a really good option, given the market. Go all out on our left winger signing instead.
I often debate and people tell me football is better now than ever but we can´t think of 5 good wing options for the right. Good lord what has happened to football.
Honestly I had a similar thought just now looking at the options (or lack of them).
Maybe bringing in someone like Rayan (young, limited experience) makes it even more sensible to bring in an older head like Bowen to share the load, and not end up blocking someone like Abe.

One of those is going to be lucky to play any part next season and it will be an absolute miracle if the other stays fit often enough to handle three games a week. I don’t think we can afford to buy somebody who is more of a creator when the likelihood is it will be Gakpo they’re servicing, we need multi functional forwards who score goals.

I think he probably made himself unsignable for a team in this country after his behavior in the Champions League - which is a shame because he is talented (he came up in my shortlist I removed him due to behavior, same with Mason Greenwood).
