Well that’s often the point of an opening bid, to try to narrow down the range at which a follow up bid would be successful.

There surely won’t be that many clubs willing to pay 120 million for a 19-year-old. It takes my breath away just writing that.

The fact we paid so much for Wirtz is working against us here I think.
