He looks like he’ll be an absolute superstar, but…
- the fee is monstrous
- he plays on the left where we have two players already (versus zero on the right)
- the club made a song and dance about not blocking Ngumoha, and this would be a player in the same position only a year older.
It would be an exciting signing, but an odd one.

Diomande does play on the right quite a bit already actually.
Not that I care about Rio´s development if we can get a world class wide player in, but Diomande could do very well on the right too.

The thing is, forums like these are to discuss stuff and argue your point. Opinions on players will differ massively. It’s the same as arguing with your mates in the pub - I’ve got mates who think I talk utter shite and I’ve heard them express absolute nonsense as well, imo.
The thing is, if someone in the pub laughed in your face every time you said something, or vice-versa, it wouldn’t end well.

We all talk shite in someone’s opinion but mostly in my wife’s for me!
I totally get how annoying it is. You take time to put your thoughts into a post and some bellend just adds a laughing emoji. But I don’t think we can start clamping down on that really.
Oh well that’s encouraging - Transfermrkt have him primarily as a left winger.

Diomande who played tonight for Ivory Coast was not great shakes but on the other hand Guela Doué who incidentally is the brother of the Doué who plays for PsG and France, was brilliant and scored in the 2;1 win for Ivory Coast .
I get that. SixpenceNun told me my opinon was daft and I respect that, we disagree, but just posting a laughing emoji is pure arrogance.

He had a great season and would probably be a very shrewd signing for us.
Have to say, Diomande against good full backs has disappointed a few times I watched.

Diomande will be at the World Cup this month and there is also the AFCON next summer.

He did play from the left sometimes though and for Ivory Coast.

Seen all his games, including AFCON and African WCQs. His goals output can and will be better. As is his defensive actions. Tends to drift a bit…
But again, this is just his first season in the real sense of it..
