I was on a much smaller forum back in the day when the Bent stories were dong the rounds. That place was small enough that it was much harder to miss that something you wanted to share had already been shared. The Bent sign joke had already been made several times when a third guy pops up to do it again, but this time he posts the pic with the caption “Bent signs for Liverpool”

People trying to come up with songs for players before they’ve even signed, let alone done anything to sing about, is rapidly rising up my list of “shit things about modern football”. Social media is full of this nonsense too.
Let the bloke put a Liverpool shirt on and do something before we start trying to sing his name.

There was a video on YT back in the day where an LFC couple had people submit lyrics for a new version of the Torres Bounce after said player moved to Chelsea. Hubby would then play the tune on his keyboard and they’d sing the new lyrics.
My personal highlight was the version that ended with…
