It wasn’t a dream. ![]()
The sky did fall in.
I agree with you on that. But this is an issue because the club didn’t get Guehi in, not because he has a Gomez vendetta.
With the condition Joe has been in, he couldn’t really be seen as anything other than an extra body - an emergency option off the bench.
I do think with Bradley and Frimpong back, there is an opportunity to drop Konate and put Gomez back in the middle. But whereas we look at the players name and the letters CB next to his name, for Slot, it’s a deeper conversation that involves his medical department, sports science, physios etc. Can Joe Gomez do 90mins at CB twice a week without breaking down? It really isn’t easy.
Gakpo’s last two performances have been about as bad as it gets from a Liverpool forward.
Not only rubbish, but selfish too. Strong combination.
Not that.
I shit my pants in class and @Flobs was the teacher and everyone laughed at me.
Last night I dreamt I was putting up the Christmas decorations and ran out of Bailey’s. Woke up in a right panic.
My nightcap did make things seem marginally better.
We would be 3 points behind Arsenal if we did our job against Forest,Sunderland and Leeds.I can’t believe that there are still people who defend Slot. The guy is useless.
The one who just months ago got us the title ?
I don’t forgive you @Walshy07…i need you to cuss more
Does anyone run out of Bailey’s? I thought it was traditional to have it on your cornflakes on Boxing Day morning.
My wife has proposed a shopping trip to the Netherlands today. I suspect Advocaat trifle and snowball chasers will be incoming.
I have a suggestion for a new manager at the end of this season….Danny Rhol
Ex Sheffield Wednesday and now at Glasgow Rangers.
I have heard nothing but good things about this young manager. My Wednesday mates were devastated to see him go after taking them up to the Championship. The Chairman didn’t back him with investment and then parted company. It’s plain to see why now.
Rangers were in free fall with a succession of journeymen managers that didn’t get the passion and expectation in the club. Rhol has transformed them to believers. They havnt lost in 10 games now. Rangers were my boyhood club and I still have strong connections up there. They can’t believe their luck in getting this guy.
There are others on this forum that are better at researching Rhol. I would be interested in your views lads?
I agree two good CHs would fix everything as not getting the signing of Guehi over the line is at the root of the problems we are having now.
My apologies if this is the wrong thread to post the message about Danny Rhol. Happy to repost on another more appropriate one if you can suggest it.
Yeah you could start the ‘Crazy Ideas we should never try’ thread. Would make the perfect opening post! ![]()
Shouldn’t that have been said behind closed doors kept in the dressing room and all that jazz.
That’s incredibly simple way of looking at it.
Not at £10 a bottle.
Maybe it was and maybe his was the slip of the tongue or maybe he’s too honest in answering - honestly I dunno. It is almost funny now. Best to wait till the bigger levers are pulled and for the dust to settle.
I was hoping for a team to start emerging by Christmas but now it is “hopefully by the end of the season”.
One thing about Gakpo is you have an obvious option in Dom on that right side and it’s frankly looked good for that change.
Maybe he should give Rio some minutes but shoving Wirtz out there hasn’t worked and I noticed Hugo was over on the right not the left yesterday.
Balance of the side was fine till the subs to be honest, Gomez was probably required due to Bradley returning from injury but Maca is another who has been poor and been poor now for almost a year.
What a degenerate pervert. He should have been shown out of the club long ago if that is what he’s been up to
